GRAFFITI HIGH SCHOOL: Fletcher Academy x MCK

I teamed up with the awesome team at The Fletcher Academy here in Raleigh, NC on a series of graffiti murals for their schools facility. We created 4 unique pieces using style writing and abstract artwork based off the schools values of Believe, Soar, Achieve and Explore. My favorite connection to this job was that the schools art teacher was my art teacher in high school. Being able to work with her as my client was special and humble moment.

This was by far a great client to work for, they were very professional and gave me creative control on what I wanted to execute and ultimatley wanted to represent authentic style writing. Reflecting on when I was in high school making my mark on lockers and bathrooms, it would have blown my mind to see full size pieces adorning the walls while I worked on my own pieces. Ideally, I hope my work today serves as that inspiration point for a student at this school.
